GUARDIANS OF TOREKOV

Amid the serene landscapes of Skåne, in the picturesque village of Torekov, a memory of profound beauty was etched onto film. As dawn broke on a snowy morning, the tranquil white expanses revealed the dignified figures of Swedish Highland cattle cows, their dense coats a testament to nature's way of preparing them for the Nordic chills.

These majestic creatures, with their shaggy hair and curved horns, are an ancient breed, having grazed the Scandinavian meadows for centuries. Their resilience, depicted in the way they withstand the biting Swedish winters, speaks volumes of their integral role in the pastoral history of the region.
